Unley Concert Band has been serving the SA community since 1997. The band is situated in the suburb of Unley, in the City of Adelaide, South Australia.

Unley Concert Band aims to:

• be the leading Concert Band in South Australia, focusing on a wide range of quality, symphonic wind band music
• perform a broad range of entertaining music for community concerts and events
• participate in local and interstate music festivals and competitions
• march in the Anzac Day parade and Xmas pageants

Unley Concert Band is directed by a dynamic, very accomplished, professional Music Director and has a vibrant and friendly atmosphere.

Unley Concert Band is touring Europe in 2009 between Easter and Anzac Day to participate in commemorative services in France and Belgium. For more information click here

Recruitment

Players of woodwind/brass/percussion at approx Grade 5 level welcome for 2009/10

The Unley Concert Band is currently seeking expressions of interest from players of all woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments to join this successful banding team. In particular, players are especially welcome in the following sections:

• Flute
• Oboe
• Clarinet
• Bassoon
• Saxophone
• French Horn
• Percussion
